TalkTalk has launched a new deal offering six months' half-price broadband and home phone services.
For the next two weeks, the firm is offering a 50 per cent introductory discount to any new customer signing up for TalkTalk Essentials or TalkTalk Plus.
The promotion, which is set to run until July 4th, offers consumers the opportunity to save more than £70 during the first six months of their broadband deal.
TalkTalk's entry-level broadband package – Essentials – enables internet users to take advantage of high-speed downloads and a 40GB monthly usage allowance.
Free evening and weekend calls are also included with the broadband deal, which is initially priced at £3.25 per month, rising to £6.50.
Additional savings can be made by virtue of a free connection worth £30, while a free wireless broadband router is also included.
For households seeking unlimited downloads and calls, TalkTalk Plus represents a cost-effective option.
Priced at £7.25 for the first six months, the broadband deal offers high-speed web services, an unrestricted data allowance, and unlimited home phone calls.
As with TalkTalk Essentials, a free connection and Wi-Fi router add to the savings possible with this broadband package.
A line rental fee of £12.60 per month applies to both offers, enabling TalkTalk customers to take advantage of home phone and internet services.
UK households are required to take out a 12 month contract, with broadband and calls billed at full-price for the second half of the year.
In order to capitalise on the current half-price promotion, customers must pay for their TalkTalk broadband and phone services via direct debit, while the free connection offer only applies to online subscriptions.
