BT is pressing ahead with its super-fast broadband rollout, which aims to deliver 25Mb broadband to 90 per cent of the UK by 2013.

The telecoms giant has published a full list of the telephone exchanges scheduled to receive a fibre upgrade over the coming months and years.

According to ISPreview.co.uk, 1,351 exchanges have already been enabled, providing 70 per cent of homes and businesses with access to super-fast broadband.

BT said that by the end of 2011, 80 per cent of the UK will be covered by the fibre network.

A spokesperson for the broadband provider told the news provider that all forward-looking plans are subject to change.

"The expectations reflected in this forward-looking plan are reasonable, but because our rollout involves risks and uncertainties, actual results may differ materially from those expressed or implied by these plans," they stated.

BT is currently investing £2.5 billion upgrading broadband services across the UK.
