Three has relaunched its range of mobile broadband deals, which are now capable of faster download speeds.
The mobile broadband provider is promising broadband speeds of up to 21Mb with a range of its standard dongle deals, which could persuade more consumers to embrace USB modems.
Consumers can now benefit from broadband speeds up to 40 per cent faster than those previously available to them, courtesy of HSPA+ technology.
Three offers a range of pay monthly and pay-as-you-go mobile broadband deals to UK consumers, which enable laptop and PC users to access the internet in areas with 3G coverage.
Up to 21Mb broadband speeds are also available to iPad users taking out a tablet broadband deal with the provider.
The cheapest 21Mb dongle deal is for a 1GB per month usage allowance on an 18-month contract – consumers pay just £7.87 for their USB modem.
For £15.99 per month, the Standard Broadband 5GB 1 deal offers a 5GB usage allowance to broadband users on a one-month contract.
With this short-term contract, subscribers are also required to pay a £4.99 per month upfront charge for their dongle.
This fee is waived for customers signing up for the standard dongle on an 18-month contract.
Consumers also have the option of taking out a 15GB dongle on an 18-month (£20.99 per month) or 24-month contract (£15.99).
This hefty usage allowance enables subscribers to send 15,000 Outlook/HTML emails, surf the web for 150 hours, download 75 four-minute videos or download 480 four-minute music tracks.
