KC's super-fast fibre broadband trial is continuing – with the firm set to test the service in a number of Hull tower blocks.
Residents in five high-rise flats on the city's Great Thornton Street estate are being invited to participate in the next phase of the broadband provider's pilot.
KC has already rolled out 80Mb broadband in the village of Woodmansey, but the company now wishes to test fibre-to-the-basement technology.
Nick Thompson, the firm's Director of Consumer Services, said KC has had "great feedback" from the consumers who have already been connected to fibre broadband in East Yorkshire.
"One of my favourite comments is that switching to our new fibre service was like swapping a Reliant Robin for a Ferrari," he stated.
"We're looking forward to bringing this amazing online experience to many more customers across the region and showing people just what KC super-fast fibre optic broadband can offer them."
KC aims to deliver super-fast fibre broadband to 15,000 homes in the Humber region over the next 12 months.
