Sky TV and broadband customers can tune in to all the live Premier League action during the busy December period.

Customers with a Sky Sports subscription can watch wall-to-wall football this Christmas, with a number of exciting fixtures on the schedule.

The satellite TV and broadband provider will air 16 top flight matches during the month, including a number of exciting local derbies.

Kicking off the December schedule on Saturday 3rd, under-fire Chelsea head north to take on Alan Pardew's surprise package Newcastle United, for a 12:45 GMT kick-off live on Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports HD2.

The following day Wolves take on managerless Sunderland at Molineux (16:00 GMT), live on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports HD1, before Fulham host Kenny Dalglish's resurgent Liverpool on Monday night (20:00 GMT).

Sunderland get a second airing on Sunday 11th against relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers (13:00 GMT) before Stoke v Tottenham in the day's late kick-off (16:00 GMT).

Two Premier League titans clash on Monday December 12th, when moneybags Man City head to Stamford Bridge to take on Andre Villas-Boas' equally wealthy Chelsea side live on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports HD1.

A Sky Sports triple-header on Sunday December 18th looks like the perfect midwinter tonic, with champions Man United taking on QPR at Loftus Road (12:00 GMT), Aston Villa hosting Liverpool (14:05 GMT) and Arsenal travelling to Man City (16:10 GMT).

The broadcaster has a Lancashire hot-pot in store for Tuesday December 20th, with Blackburn v Bolton Wanderers (20:00 GMT), before Wigan host Liverpool on Wednesday 21st (20:00 GMT).

The final pre-Christmas fixture is sure to whet the appetite, as Tottenham take on Chelsea at White Hart Lane (20:00 GMT) in an eagerly awaited London derby.

Premier League newcomers Swansea and QPR lock horns on Tuesday December 27th (17:00 GMT), before the third promoted side Norwich host Spurs (19:30 GMT) at Carrow Road.

The final game of the month sees Liverpool welcome Newcastle United to Anfield, for a 19:45 GMT kick-off live on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports HD1.
