UK households singing up for a Virgin Media broadband package can make significant savings in the run-up to Christmas.
The broadband provider has slashed the introductory price of both its 10Mb and 30Mb dual-play packages.
And for consumers signing up for triple-play broadband bundles, there is the added incentive of three months' free service.
Virgin Media's up to 10Mb broadband deals are described by the firm as being "ideal for smaller households".
Along with high-speed broadband consumers can take advantage of unlimited downloads.
Free Virgin Media security software is also included, as is a wireless broadband router, enabling consumers to access the web from a number of devices.
Subscribers can take advantage of unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles if they take a Virgin Phone line - plus a free installation worth £49.95.
From today (Tuesday December 20th), customers can pay just £4 per month for this broadband deal for the first three months of their contract.
Virgin Media is also offering discount access to its up to 30Mb broadband services, which it describes as "a star performer".
The broadband deal, which offers all the same features as the 10Mb equivalent including a free installation with a Virgin Media landline, costs just £5 per month for the first three months.
Consumers typically receive download speeds of 30.1Mb.
UK households taking out a triple-play combination of broadband, TV, mobile and home phone services are best-placed to achieve savings with Virgin Media.
With three months' free service on offer for all new subscribers, consumers can save at least £60 in the run-up to Christmas.
