UK households seeking Virgin Media broadband and TV services in time for the Christmas break must complete their order this week.
The subscription TV and broadband provider has set a deadline of midnight on Friday December 9th 2011 for a guaranteed installation.
Consumers who order a Virgin Media TV, phone and broadband bundle after this date may have to wait until after Boxing Day to see their service activated.
And this could mean missing out on all the latest movie releases and live sports action over the festive season.
Signing up for Virgin Media entertainment services this week could also lead to significant savings for UK households.
Virgin Media Digital TV + broadband + home phone is available from just £23 per month, with line rental costing an additional £13.90 per month.
At present, new customers can save £49.95 courtesy of a free TiVo box activation, and a further £49.95 through a free broadband installation.
Altogether subscribers can save a total of £99.90 by signing up for a Virgin Media TV, phone and broadband package this week, the firm said.
Virgin Media is continuing to extend its ultra-fast fibre broadband services to new areas of the UK, giving consumers the opportunity to take advantage of 100Mb download speeds.
The firm launched its fibre broadband network in December 2010 in just four towns – Heckmondwike, Farnborough, Colchester and Barry – but the firm has been rolling out ultra-fast broadband throughout 2011.
Recently, the service provider revealed that a third of UK households are able to sign up for Virgin Media 100Mb broadband services.
