O2 has announced an extension to its range of discount home broadband deals.
The broadband provider is giving consumers who have been an O2 mobile subscriber for two years the opportunity to receive a six-month 50 per cent discount.
All other subscribers - those who are not a long-term O2 mobile customer - can take advantage of half-price broadband for three months.
The broadband deals apply on O2's two most popular home broadband deals - The All Rounder and The Works.
O2 describes The All Rounder broadband package as being "great for smaller households".
The broadband deal, which comes on a 12-month contract, offers up to 20Mb download speeds, an unlimited usage allowance and free 24/7 customer services support.
Prices start from £17.50 per month, although customers who have been with O2 mobile for longer than two years receive a £5 per month discount.
Households requiring faster upload speeds - where there are gamers or home business owners - may be better off signing up for The Works.
This £26 per month broadband deal, which is also cheaper for long-term O2 mobile subscribers, enables users to upload at a rate of 2.5Mb, rather than the 1.3Mb possible on The All Rounder deal.
Both broadband packages come with a 'Best' router included, which features double-strength wireless for longer range.
