TalkTalk news

TalkTalk is offering three months free broadband on a selected number of its packages, with competitive monthly prices thereafter.

For those who like browsing the web but aren't too bothered about downloading music and films, the TalkTalk Broadband and Phone Essentials deal could be the ideal package.

It boasts speeds of up to 24Mb, a generous 40GB download limit and comes complete with  unlimited evening and weekend calls.

The 12-month deal is free for the first three months and £6.50 a month for the remainder of the contract plus £9.50 a month line rental.

Those signing up to the deal will also receive a free connection, saving them £30, and those signing up online in the next eight days will receive a £25 Love2Shop voucher which they can splash in a number of high street retailers including Homebase, Wilkinson, JJB Sports and Boots.

However, the voucher is only available to customers who do not require a new telephone line.

For those who want a bit more downloading capability, TalkTalk is also offering three months free on its Plus Unlimited Broadband and Phone package.

This also comes with speeds of up to 24Mb, however, it boasts unlimited downloads meaning it is the perfect package for those who like to download albums and films from the web.

The deal is also perfect for chatterboxes as it comes with anytime calls – all for just £14.50 a month plus line rental after the initial free three months.

Like the Essentials package, the Plus comes with a free wireless router and free connection as well as the £25 Love2Shop vouchers for those who sign up online before March 30th.

Both packages also come with some useful support services form TalkTalk, including free technical support and free voicemail.
