Sky is aiming to soup up interest in their TV packages by offering a free Sky+ or Sky+HD box to new sign ups, as well as waiving installation fees for a limited time.

In addition, Sky is providing a £75 eVoucher for use in M&S to those new subscribers, eligible for a variety of goods and home wares in the venerable high street chain.

This offer is open to subscribers looking to take out all manner of telly packages, with the vouchers being pinged out as an e-mail shortly after subscription.

The vanilla Sky Entertainment package offers a wide selection of popular channels from £20 per month, with a wealth of additional channels available in high-definition for an extra £10.25 per month.

Opting for the latter automatically bundles in a Sky+HD box - gratis.

This news comes in the wake of the entertainment provider unveiling figures for their Sky Go app, highlighting 10 million weekly content view requests and 2.5 million active users since launching in July of last year.

The Sky Go service enables consumers to view music videos, live sport, and movies on portable devices such as smartphones and tablets, and is one of a whopping eleven apps launched by Sky.
