Be Broadband customers can now receive extra account credit each time they recommend a friend to the firm's internet services.
The service provider - which is owned by O2 - has increased the incentive payment from £15.32 per new customer to £40.
Subscribers can recommend a friend up to six times per year, giving them the opportunity to save £280 in each 12-month period.
"That means members on both the Value and Unlimited packages could get their internet for the year entirely free," the broadband provider stated.
"And Be Pro members would only have to shell out £44 for their service. That’s not bad going."
In order to take advantage of the offer, consumers need to click on the Tell a Friend button on the Be Broadband website.
Next they need to login with their Be username and password, before entering the name and contact email address of their friend.
An automatic email will be generated and sent to this address, and if they sign up for Be Broadband using this account, Be will provide £40 free account credit.
