UK companies are being given the opportunity to receive a free BT Business Hub router when they sign up for broadband services..
In an online offer, the telecoms giant is giving enterprises the opportunity to receive the powerful router at no extra charge with their 24-month business broadband deal.
This enables firms to save up to £79 excluding VAT on their router.
According to BT, the hub provides a "strong and reliable" wireless signal.
"It uses 'Smart Wireless' technology to detect interference and automatically selects the strongest wireless channel," the firm stated.
BT said the unit is compatible with BT Business Broadband and BT Infinity for business.
"The BT Business Hub is designed to detect and avoid Wi-Fi interference," the broadband provider stated.
"Once you're connected, it will constantly monitor the chosen wireless channel and automatically switch to a new one if there's too much interference."
In addition, the hub comes with Wi-Fi Protected Setup at the touch of a button, making it easy to set up a secure wireless network.
The unit can also be used as a BT wireless hotspot so customers can access the internet from the user's premises, utilising a secure and separate channel from company PCs.
With the current online offer, companies receive a BT Business Hub 2 as part of their broadband deal.
However, they have the opportunity to upgrade to a BT Business Hub 3 for only £59 - saving £20 - when they purchase online.
Customers ordering a 24-month BT Business broadband and phone package can currently receive their broadband for just 1p per month for the first three months.
In a deal that runs until June 30th, businesses also have the opportunity to add a call package at the same price - 1p per month for three months.
