TalkTalk has refreshed its range of broadband and home phone deals.

The firm is now offering a 50 per cent discount for a whole year when consumers sign up for its TalkTalk Essentials or TalkTalk Plus broadband packages.

As well as receiving 12 months' half-price broadband and calls, subscribers receive a free Wi-Fi router and a free connection worth £30.

With both broadband packages, consumers receive access to up to 14Mb download speeds, depending on issues such as location, latency and line quality.

TalkTalk Essentials customers receive a 40GB usage allowance and evening and weekend calls for an initial price of £3.25 per month.

And TalkTalk Plus subscribers can take advantage of an unlimited data allowance and anytime calls for an introductory price of £7.25.

Both deals are available on a 12-month contract, meaning the discount prices are available for the whole of the minimum contract period.
