Wireless broadband services are being rolled out across 66 RUSH Hair salons in London and the south of England, it has been reported.

The company has signed a deal with Wi-Fi provider The Cloud which will enable customers to access the web on their mobile devices from summer 2012.

Vince Russell, Managing Director of The Cloud, said hair salons are the ideal environment for free wireless broadband.

"It is the perfect place for people to sit and escape from their busy lives for an hour or two," he stated.

"With nearly a quarter of the population now accessing public Wi-Fi services every week people expect reliable access wherever they go."

Mr Russell said enabling RUSH's customers to catch up with friends on Facebook or Twitter, watch their favourite video clips or even find a new look online "will only make the salon experience more enjoyable".
