Virgin Media is urging broadband subscribers to find out when they are due to receive faster download speeds.
The broadband provider took to its Twitter account to comment that "double speeds are on their way" for UK households and businesses.
"Be sure to get ready for the whoosh and take a look at our handy post code checker," Virgin Media tweeted.
The firm is in the process of upgrading its UK network to double the broadband speeds of many of its customers, up to a maximum of 120Mb.
Virgin Media claims that four million consumers are set to receive access to faster downloads in the coming weeks and months.
The broadband provider has acquired the services of Olympic 100m champion Usain Bolt to advertise its national speed upgrade.
In a series of adverts, the Jamaican sprinter assumes the guise of Virgin founder Sir Richard Branson, even sporting his trademark blonde goatee beard.
