John Lewis has launched a new broadband deal offering six months' free service to new subscribers.
The high street retailer - which launched its home broadband service in April 2012 - is giving consumers the chance to save up to £108 during the introductory period of their contract.
UK households can choose between entry-level broadband package John Lewis Standard and the higher-tier John Lewis Unlimited.
With John Lewis Standard, broadband subscribers gain access to up to 16Mb download speeds and receive a 20GB per month usage allowance.
Evening and weekend phone calls are inclusive with the package - which ordinarily costs £11 per month - with line rental priced at £13.50 per month.
As well as six months' free service, subscribers also receive a free activation and a wireless broadband router.
BullGuard IT security software and freephone customer support is available to all consumers signing up for the broadband deal.
"We want to bring you a broadband service you can really trust, with straightforward packages, honest pricing and excellent customer support," John Lewis stated.
"Our Standard Broadband is ideal when you need a fast and reliable internet connection that represents great value."
In households with multiple internet users, the John Lewis Unlimited broadband package may be more appropriate.
Again, consumers can experience up to 16Mb download speeds, but this time with an unlimited monthly usage allowance.
"Our Unlimited Broadband allows you to enjoy all the internet has to offer without restriction," John Lewis noted.
"[Subscribers can] watch films, listen to music and catch up with their favourite TV shows."The deal includes all the same features as the entry-level package - including evening and weekend calls, a free wireless 'N' router and free activation.
Subscribers are required to pay £18 per month plus a £13.50 line rental fee, however they will pay nothing for broadband and off-peak calls for the first six months of their contract.
Both John Lewis Standard and John Lewis Unlimited are available on 12-month contracts, with six months' free service included.
