Primus is giving UK households the opportunity to pay just £1.20 per month - plus line rental - for broadband and calls.

The firm's new Primus Saver broadband deal offers up to 15Mb download speeds and a 20GB per month usage allowance.

Consumers also receive inclusive evening and weekend calls, a free wireless broadband router, free connection from an existing provider and free customer support.

UK households are required to sign up for the broadband deal - which comes with a £12.79 per month line rental fee - on a 12-month deal.

As reported by ISPreview.co.uk, consumers subscribing for Primus Saver need to pay an additional £2 per GB if they exceed their monthly data allowance.

And the price of the broadband package also goes up by £1.80 per month if a subscriber wants a paper bill or seeks to pay by means other than direct debit.
