Virgin Media has acquired the services of much-loved comic Stephen Fry for its latest TiVo advertising campaign.
The QI host - whose acting credits include Jeeves and Wooster, Kingdom and Blackadder - will help promote the search function on Virgin Media's on-demand TV service.
Launching this weekend, the adverts adopt a kung-fu theme, in a bid to demonstrate TiVo's "lightning-fast" search function.
Fry, who appears wearing martial arts robes in the campaign, is seen getting to grips with the TiVo television service.
Jeff Dodds, Executive Director of Brand and Marketing Communications at Virgin Media, said the success of the firm's previous ad campaigns has done "a fantastic job" in raising awareness of TiVo and some of its great features.
"Our next step is to help even more people understand the many benefits of upgrading to TiVo," he stated.
"We think we’ve achieved this in a funny and memorable way."
