KC is to boost the monthly usage allowance of its home broadband customers, it has been announced.

The broadband provider - the incumbent telecoms firm in East Yorkshire - announced on Twitter that all Karoo Lite, Mid and Pro subscribers will benefit from the change.

For Karoo Lite users, the monthly download allowance is increasing from 5GB to 6GB, giving subscribers additional flexibility.

Karoo Mid 1 is rising from 20GB to 22GB, Karoo Mid 2 from 30GB to 33GB and Karoo Mid 3 from 50GB to 55GB.

Larger increases are seen for higher tier users, with the 100GB Karoo Pro 1 package rising to 110GB, and Karoo Pro 2 increasing from 150GB to 330GB.

"We know you want to do more of the things you love online without the worry of hitting a usage limit," KC stated.

"So we've looked at how we can help you do that."
