Be Broadband is giving its customers the opportunity to secure £40 account credit by helping the firm increase its subscriber base.

The firm is giving customers the chance to recommend up to six friends and family members every year - meaning they could save up to £240 on their broadband services.

In order to begin the process, Be Broadband customers need to use the 'Tell a Friend' button.

They are required to log in with their Be username and password, and then enter the name and email address of their friend.

If they sign up for Be Broadband services using the email address provided, £40 account credit will be added.

"The more of your friends who join, the more credit you get," commented Be Broadband.

"You can refer up to six people a year, and if all six sign up we'll even give you an extra £40 credit."

Be Broadband subscribers receive up to 16Mb download speeds, up to 1.9Mb uploads, unlimited downloads "with a rather fair usage policy" and a wireless Be Box modem.
