Broadband provider Plusnet is aiming to keep British spirits high as the long winter months draw near.
With the clocks having gone back, UK consumers face the prospect of long, dark nights along with plunging temperatures.
And after the excitement of the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic summer, Plusnet is eager to ensure British consumers keep their chins up.
The firm has offered a number of tips for successfully navigating the winter, including spending time with friends and family, laughing, taking part in community events and setting goals for the future.
Jamie Ford, Chief Executive of Plusnet, noted that the firm this year changed its strapline to 'We'll do you proud' - and this has been a fitting move given the events of 2012.
"While the country has been basking in the glory of all the great events of the summer, there's a real danger that Britain’s spirits will be dampened as we head in to winter," he stated.
"As a company that is committed to making our customers proud of our products we’re glad to be able to offer some advice on how the nation can continue to feel proud and keep their spirits high."
