TalkTalk Business is to launch a super-fast broadband service next month, offering download speeds of up to 80Mb to firms around the UK.
The broadband provider's Super Fast Broadband service will make use of the latest Fibre-to-the-Cabinet technology available via more than 30,000 street cabinets connected through 2,600 enabled telephone exchanges.
TalkTalk Business said its new broadband service would provide businesses and home workers with enhanced connectivity, supporting cloud computing, file sharing and web conferencing.
The company also aims to launch an Ethernet over Super Fast Broadband variant of the service in January 2013, which will deliver high speed services at a lower price than traditional Ethernet delivery technologies.
Lance Spencer, Director of Connectivity at TalkTalk Business, said: "The launch of Super Fast Broadband is a significant milestone for us in the development of both our Broadband and Ethernet families of Products.
"The addition of a cost effective and high speed fibre-based broadband proposition to the portfolio enables our partners to leverage our competitive advantage – the unrivalled reach of our network."
