BT is giving broadband customers the opportunity to get their hands on a free Sony Home Cinema System.

The TV, home phone and broadband provider is running the offer to coincide with the launch of 'The Shield' on its BT Vision pay TV platform.

The gritty US cop drama - starring the award-winning Michael Chiklis and Glenn Close - is now available on-demand for BT Vision viewers.

The show ran for seven seasons on the FX network between 2002 and 2008. In its first year, 'The Shield' won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama.

To stand a chance of winning the Sony Home Cinema System (BDV380) - which ordinarily retails at £350 - consumers have to answer the following multiple choice question:

'The Shield star Michael Chiklis also played big-screen superhero?'

Answer options: (a) The Hulk (b) The Thing (c) The Beast

BT customers still have more than a fortnight to enter the online competition, which closes at midnight on December 7th.
