Sky has performed strongly so far in 2012 and is well positioned for future growth, it has been claimed.
Jeremy Darroch, Chief Executive at the broadband provider, noted that Sky has delivered another good quarterly performance during Q3 2012.
Revenues rose by four per cent during the July to September period, with adjusted operating profits up by five per cent.
The firm also attracted another 48,000 customers, while one in three subscribers is now paying for a triple-play bundle.
"Our investment in high quality content and innovative services has delivered excellent levels of loyalty and generated good growth in customers and products," Mr Darroch stated.
"At the same time, we continue to drive improvements in efficiency, reliability and customer service throughout our operations."
He said this approach continues to generate strong financial results with good growth in revenues and earnings.
"Looking forward, whilst we continue to see a challenging consumer environment in the UK and Ireland, we are well positioned to execute our plans for the year," Mr Darroch added.
