TalkTalk saw the number of super-fast broadband subscribers double during the third quarter of the year.
Customer numbers increased to 30,000 between July and September 2012, while 29,000 households adopted the new YouView IPTV service, which went live at the start of the quarter.
Overall, TalkTalk saw a net 4,000 decline in customers, to a total of 4,043,000.
However this represented a significant improvement for the broadband provider, which saw its customer base fall by 19,000 in Q2 2012.
Dido Harding, Chief Executive of TalkTalk, said the results show "real trading momentum".
She said the company has a strong platform from which to build towards its medium term growth targets.
"We have successfully launched our TV proposition and have installed 29,000 customers to date," Ms Harding stated.
"Customer feedback has been positive and we are growing the base according to plan, at 1,000 per day."
