Entanet is giving its broadband partners the opportunity to offer a free installation to their customers, it has been reported.

The wholesale broadband provider has taken the step to allow resellers to be more competitive with their pricing, and hopefully attract new customers.

Broadband providers using Entanet's services will be able to waive the £80 installation fee, and also offer discounts of up to 50 per cent on the monthly service charge, reports ISPreview.co.uk.

According to the news provider, the promotion will run from January 28th to March 31st, and will apply to customers signing up on 24-month deals.

Paul Heritage-Redpath, Product Manager at Entanet, said the latest promotion will ensure channel partners "gain a competitive edge" in what is a price-sensitive arena.

"We expect BT Wholesale to raise its fibre-to-the-cabinet installation charges from April 1st, so this offer could not be more timely," he stated.

Entanet offers a range of business communications services, including broadband, IP telephony, leased lines and IP virtual private networks.
