The affordability of Sky's broadband deals is one of their biggest strengths, according to ISPreview.co.uk.

Mark Jackson, Editor of the news provider, described price as one of the 'pros' of Sky's broadband offering - particularly when internet services are bundled with pay TV.

"Prices for the main Sky Broadband Unlimited package start at just £7.50 to £10 a month," Mr Jackson explained.

Other advantages to Sky broadband services include fast download speeds and the availability of unlimited usage allowances, he claimed.

Mr Jackson noted that a typical Sky broadband package offers download speeds of up to 14Mb, free UK weekend phone calls, a free SkyHub wireless router and free Wi-Fi hotspot access via The Cloud.

Households seeking super-fast downloads have the option of taking out a Sky Fibre Unlimited package, which offers speeds of up to 38Mb, he explained.

In terms of 'cons', Mr Jackson described the ‘Connect’ package as "slow and costly", and claimed that email support "could be faster".
