TalkTalk has added to the appeal of its broadband deals with a £50 Love 2 Shop voucher.

Consumers signing up for the firm's Essentials and Plus TV broadband packages can get their hands on a gift certificate, which can be used in thousands of UK high street stores.

Entry-level broadband deal TalkTalk Essentials is currently available at 12 months' half-price, meaning subscribers pay just £3.25 per month plus line rental for internet and home phone services.

Subscribers are able to download at up to 14Mb and take advantage of an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Evening and weekend calls to UK landlines are also included as part of the package, as is a free wireless broadband router and a free connection worth £30.

With the free shopping voucher, connection and half-price broadband factored into the mix, Essentials customers can achieve savings of more than £100.

The £50 Love 2 Shop voucher is also available to TalkTalk Plus TV subscribers.

They are able to take advantage of up to 14Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, a Wi-Fi router and anytime calls for £15.50 per month plus line rental.

Also included with this broadband package is a free YouView set-top box, which ordinarily retails at £299.

This allows viewers to pause, rewind and record programmes, and take advantage of seven-day catch-up TV services.

Additionally, YouView customers have unlimited access to 4,000 shows and films, and are able to add flexible Sky Sports and Sky Movies boosts.

However, if consumers want to take advantage of the £50 Love 2 Shop voucher offer on TalkTalk Essentials or Plus TV they need to act quickly.

The current broadband deal is running for just seven days and is set to be withdrawn next week.
