Plusnet news

Plusnet is giving UK households the opportunity to enjoy half-price super-fast broadband for three months when they sign up for a fibre-optic deal.

The service provider is currently running a discount promotion on its Essentials Fibre Broadband and Calls broadband deal, and also on Unlimited Fibre Broadband and Calls.

As such, consumers can pay as little as £7.99 per month plus line rental for fibre broadband during this introductory period.

Plusnet Essentials Fibre Broadband and Calls offers up to 38Mb download speeds with a 40GB monthly usage allowance.

Subscribers receive a free wireless broadband router, UK-based customer support, security software and a free activation worth £50.

The Plusnet Weekends home phone service is included as part of the deal, with customers able to upgrade to Plusnet Anytime for an additional £5 per month.

Ordinarily, the entry-level fibre broadband deal is priced at £15.99 per month plus line rental, however for the first three months consumers can pay just £7.99 plus line rental.

Savings are also available for households signing up for Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Broadband and Calls, which is currently priced at £9.99 per month plus line rental down from £19.99.

The higher-tier fibre deal offers up to 76Mb download speeds, up to 19.5Mb uploads and an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Plusnet Weekends calls, a free wireless broadband router, free activation, customer support and security software are all included as part of the deal.

If subscribers want to upgrade to Plusnet Anytime calls, this costs an additional £5 per month, while the Plusnet Anytime International 300 boost costs £7 per month.

With this add-on, customers can make unlimited calls to UK landlines and also take advantage of 300 Anytime minutes to 35 international destinations.
