BT has revamped its ADSL home broadband deals, with £40 gift certificates available to new subscribers.

Consumers signing up online with BT are entitled to a Sainsbury’s gift card, enabling them to make significant savings at the supermarket chain.

Subscribers simply need to claim to receive their 'Summer Special' voucher from BT, once their broadband connection has been installed.

The firm's home phone and copper-based broadband packages are priced from £10 per month plus line rental.

The entry-level BT Broadband deal offers up to 16Mb download speeds, a 10GB usage allowance, a free connection, a wireless router and a £40 voucher.

Weekend calls are also included with the package, with consumers having the option of upgrading to unlimited anytime calls.

BT Unlimited Broadband - which also comes with weekend calls and a £40 shopping voucher - is priced at £16 per month plus line rental.

Customers are also entitled to six months' free service when signing up for this broadband deal, and receive a free wireless router and connection.

Home broadband customers on both deals also have access to the new BT Sport app and online player, as well as unlimited Wi-Fi minutes using BT's public hotspots, BT Smart Talk, BT Family protection, and 2GB of online storage space in the cloud.

BT is running its 'Summer Special' offer until June 27th 2013, meaning that UK consumers have 15 days to sign up and receive a £40 Sainsbury's voucher.

Eligible customers should receive their gift card within 45 days of their broadband activation, with the shopping voucher posted to the installation address.
