BT Sport is reuniting the two Dannys - Baker and Kelly - for a new Friday night football phone-in.

The popular broadcasters have worked together for various radio stations over the past two decades, most notably for BBC Radio 5live.

And when BT Sport launches in August, the duo will have their own TV show - 'Baker and Kelly’s Vaguely Sporting Phone-Out'.

The series will run for 40 weeks throughout the 2013-2014 season on BT Sport, with the first show airing on August 16th, the day before the Barclays Premier League season kicks off.

Simon Green, Head of BT Sport, noted that Danny Baker and Danny Kelly are "two of the country’s best-known and admired football hosts".

"Their off-the-wall observations and passionate, humorous and engaging style of debate will be a huge hit with our viewers," he stated.

Mr Green said BT Sport is aiming to build some "fantastic and fun" programmes around the live Premier League rights it has secured.
