TalkTalk is now offering totally unlimited broadband on its Essentials and Plus internet packages.

The service provider will no longer conduct traffic management during peak hours, meaning all customers will be able to download freely and enjoy the fastest speeds available via their connection.

No subscribers will be penalised for the amount of data they consume during the month, ensuring they can take full advantage of online streaming and downloading.

The firm offers two options for unlimited broadband, including TalkTalk Essentials, which features unlimited high-speed broadband and evening and weekend calls for an initial price of £3.25 per month plus line rental.

This increases to £6.50 per month, plus line rental, after the first nine months of a 12-month contract.

Included with the entry-level broadband deal is a free wireless broadband router, a free connection, and TalkTalk's HomeSafe network-level security solution.

All new-line customers are also entitled to £50 welcome credit when they sign up for the broadband package.

Households interested in on-demand TV services may wish to consider TalkTalk Plus TV, which is currently priced at £10 per month plus line rental for six months, down from £15.50 per month.

The broadband deal offers totally unlimited high-speed broadband, inclusive anytime calls to UK landlines, and a free YouView set-top box worth £299.

This allows viewers to watch a host of TV channels, access seven-day catch up services, and enjoy unlimited access to 4,000 films and television shows.

TalkTalk Plus TV users can also pause, rewind and record Freeview channels, and add flexible Sky Sports and Sky Movies Boosts if they so choose.
