Consumers now have more accurate information about when and where BT is rolling out its superfast services, after Openreach revamped its fibre broadband microsite.
The site not only helps current and prospective customers to find out which areas will benefit from new fibre-to-the-cabinet and fibre-to-the-premises services, but also gives them an indication about when these upgrades are likely to occur.

Though the changes are only slight, the move is a response to some potential consumers' complaints about the vagueness of BT's estimates regarding when they will receive superfast services.
BT has improved its postcode checker to boost accuracy and provide more specific rollout zones, while a new rural broadband page has been added, to give customers in remote locations an idea about if and when they are likely to receive access to new services.
Rob Lee, Openreach's Director of Marketing and Communications, said the microsite is also now easier to use on smartphones and more straightforward to navigate.
He added: "It should make it easier for consumers and businesses to learn about fibre, what it can do for them and how to get it. It also has links to all of Openreach’s Communications Provider customers offering fibre services."
