EE news

EE has been named the fastest mobile broadband provider in Nottingham following speeds tests conducted by an independent consumer advocate.

RootMetrics carried out more than 25,000 mobile performance tests in the city, comparing the performance of EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three.

EE was named the RootScore Award Winner, coming top for mobile broadband speeds and internet performance.

The report showed EE registered average download speeds of 19Mb and average upload speeds of 12.6Mb in the Nottingham region.

These results were over 10Mb faster for downloads than any other mobile operator.

4G mobile broadband was rolled out in Nottingham in December 2012 and double-speed services were launched in July 2013.

RootMetrics has previously named EE the fastest mobile broadband provider in a number of other cities, including Newcastle, Birmingham and Leicester.
