Plusnet news

Plusnet is giving UK companies the chance to receive a 50 per cent discount on their business broadband connection.

The service provider is now running half-price deals on a number of its packages, including Business Broadband, Unlimited Business Broadband, Business Fibre Broadband and Unlimited Fibre Broadband.

Depending upon the deal they sign up for, companies can save up to £105 over the course of their introductory six-month discount period.

The entry-level option for UK companies is Plusnet's Business Broadband deal, which is now priced at £5 per month for six months, rising to £10 per month thereafter.

Described as being "ideal for light business use", the package offers download speeds of up to 17Mb and a 25GB monthly data allowance, with unlimited overnight usage.

A free Technicolor 582n wireless router worth £40 is also included, along with unlimited email addresses, one free .co.uk domain, 250Mb of web space and a Static IP.

Businesses are required to sign up on a 24-month contract in order to take advantage of Plusnet's current half-price deal.

However, shorter one month and 12-month contracts are available for companies reluctant to tie themselves to a provider for two years.

Unlimited Business Broadband offers largely the same deal, however there is no restriction on the amount of data that can be consumed over the month.

Subscribers receive two free .co.uk domains and 500Mb of web space on this higher-tier deal, which is currently priced at £7.50 per month for the first six months, down from £15.

In terms of the super-fast options, Business Fibre Broadband offers download speeds of up to 76Mb, uploads of up to 19.5Mb, and a 50GB daytime usage allowance with unlimited overnight data.

Among the additional features are a free router, a Static IP, unlimited email addresses, one free .co.uk domain and 250Mb of web space.

The fibre broadband deal is ordinarily priced at £25 per month, but has been reduced to £12.50 per month during the introductory period.

Plusnet's top-tier internet option for UK companies - Unlimited Business Fibre Broadband - is currently discounted from £35 per month to £17.50 per month.

For this, customers receive up to 76Mb download speeds, up to 19.5Mb uploads, an unlimited usage allowance, a free router, unlimited email addresses, two free .co.uk domains and 500Mb of web space.

Businesses signing up for Plusnet broadband on a 24-month contract have until November 7th 2013 to take advantage of the 50 per cent discount offer.
