Plusnet is giving UK households the chance to save money on their home phone and internet bills, courtesy of a new broadband offer.
The service provider has reduced the price of its Unlimited Broadband and Calls package from £9.99 per month plus line rental to £2.99 per month plus line rental for nine months.
This means new customers can save £63 on broadband and home phone services during their introductory contract period.
Plusnet describes the package as being "perfect" for large families, downloaders and gamers, since there is no monthly data allowance.
As well as unlimited usage, subscribers can take advantage of up to 16Mb download speeds, supported by a free four-port wireless 'N' router.
Other deal features include free activation - enabling subscribers to save another £25 - Plusnet Protect powered by McAfee, 24/7 customer support and the free help tool Plusnet Assist.
In terms of home phone usage, the package comes with Plusnet Weekends - covering calls to UK landlines, 0845 and 0870 numbers.
Calls to Plusnet Phone customers and Plusnet Support are free at all times.
Unlimited Broadband and Calls subscribers also have the option of upgrading from the Plusnet Weekends phone tariff to Plusnet Anytime or Plusnet Anytime International 300.
For an extra £5 per month, Plusnet Anytime offers inclusive calls to UK landlines throughout the week, and 25 per cent off calls to popular international destinations.
Plusnet Anytime International 300 costs an extra £7 per month on top of the £2.99 customers initially pay for their broadband package.
This add on includes 24/7 landline calls, and 300 Anytime international minutes.
Plusnet is running the discount broadband promotion until November 12th 2013, for new customers signing up on an 18-month contract.
