TalkTalk has reduced the price of its entry-level tablet and smartphone bundle as part of its new 'Back to School' sale.

Customers can now get their hands on a Huawei MediaPad Lite 7 tablet with a Samsung Galaxy Y Black smartphone for just £10 per month over a 24-month contract.

TalkTalk describes this as "Britain's best-priced smartphone and tablet bundle". Previously, the package cost £15 per month over a two-year deal.

It comes with 100 minutes of calls, 250 texts and 100Mb of mobile broadband data per month.

Key features of the Huawei MediaPad Lite 7 tablet include a long-lasting 4,100 mAh battery, a seven-inch IPS screen and the ability to play video wirelessly direct to a TV.

"Slender, strong, powerful and long-lasting - the MediaPad Lite is the essential home companion for emailing, surfing, gaming and even watching movies," TalkTalk stated.

Other smartphone options are available as part of the package, although this sees the monthly price increase.

Customers willing to pay £15 per month can bundle their Huawei MediaPad Lite 7 with an LG Optimus L3 II, while a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is available as part of the bundle for £25 per month.

The top-tier tablet and smartphone deal is priced at £30 per month, for which subscribers receive a Samsung Galaxy S3 Blue with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, a Quad Core processor and an eight megapixel camera.

Consumers signing up for one of these tablet and smartphone packages are incentivised to do so over the internet.

TalkTalk doubles the data allowance on all plans when the subscriber registers online.
