Manchester City welcome Everton to the Etihad Stadium this Saturday (October 5th) for the Barclays Premier League's lunchtime kick-off, live on BT Sport 1.

Manuel Pellegrini's side have had a mixed start to the season, thumping the league champions and local rivals Manchester United 4-1, but suffering 3-2 defeats away at unfancied Aston Villa and Cardiff City.

Meanwhile, Everton have started brightly under new boss Roberto Martinez, and are unbeaten in six Premier League matches this season.

The highlight for the Toffees was a 1-0 win against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea - the first of three consecutive wins in the league.

Everton will be looking to make it four on the bounce as they head to Manchester (12:45pm kick-off), knowing a win could see them top the table ahead of the afternoon fixtures.

At present, the Toffees sit in fourth place with 12 points from six matches, two ahead of seventh-place City.

When the teams last met in March at Goodison Park, Everton ran out 2-0 winners, with goals from Leon Osman and Nikica Jelavi? securing victory.

BT Sport subscribers can look forward to a host of other footballing action this weekend, starting with Arsenal Ladies v Lincoln Ladies in the WSL Continental Cup Final on Friday October 4th.

The match, to be played at Barnet's The Hive, will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2 with a 7:30pm kick-off.

As well as Man City v Everton, BT Sport is broadcasting two European games on Saturday October 5th - Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga at 5:30pm, followed by Inter Milan v Roma in Serie A at 7:45pm.

Five more games will be shown on Sunday October 6th, including two German encounters - FC Nuremberg v Hamburg (2:30pm) and SC Freiburg v Eintracht Frankfurt (4:30pm) in the Bundesliga.

And on Sunday evening, BT Sport viewers can watch Juventus v AC Milan in Serie A (7:45pm), Marseille v PSG in Ligue 1 (8pm) and LA Galaxy v Chivas USA in the MLS (10pm).
