Consumers are now able to take advantage of super-fast mobile broadband in another 14 UK towns after EE extended its 4G network.

Tablet, Mi-Fi and dongle users in Benfleet, Caerphilly, Caldicot, Canvey Island, Carlisle, Chepstow, Cwmbran, Grays, Harlow, Hatfield, Kenilworth, Rayleigh, Southport and Worksop can now benefit from EE's next-generation services.

The latest rollout means EE's 4G mobile broadband is available in 131 towns and cities across the UK.

Olaf Swantee, Chief Executive Officer at EE, said that one year on from the launch of its 4G network, EE is bringing super-fast mobile broadband to more locations.

"[We are] making the UK’s fastest mobile network available to even more people," he stated.

Mr Swantee said EE continues to grow its 4G coverage all around the country, with a new range of plans giving consumers and businesses "more flexibility and choice in how they access super-fast mobile services".

From Wednesday October 30th, EE is offering 4G pay-as-you-go services for the first time, as well as new 4GEE plans.
