For a limited time only, Virgin Media is giving UK consumers the opportunity to save money when signing up for select broadband deals.

Up until Sunday November 3rd, new customers are able to save £45 on broadband and home phone packages using the promotion code 'USWITCH45'.

The offer applies to a number of broadband deals, including Virgin Media 30Mb Broadband & Phone.

With the package, consumers are able to download at speeds of up to 30Mb and take advantage of an unlimited usage allowance.

Subscribers receive a free wireless broadband router, and inclusive weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin Media mobile numbers.

The broadband deal is priced at £4 per month plus line rental for the first eight months of an 18-month contract and £14.50 per month plus line rental thereafter.

Consumers seeking faster download speeds can also take advantage of the £45 off promotion when they sign up for Virgin Media 60Mb Broadband & Phone.

This offers the same broadband deal - including an unlimited data allowance, a free router and weekend calls - but with up to 60Mb speeds available.

Priced at £5 per month plus line rental for the first three months, the deal costs £19.50 per month thereafter.

The deal also applies to some of Virgin Media's triple-play broadband bundles - including the Virgin Media Essential Collection.

With this package, subscribers are able to download at broadband speeds of up to 30Mb and take advantage of an unlimited usage allowance.

They also receive inclusive weekend calls, a free wireless router and access to more than 100 TV channels, along with a 500GB TiVo box.

This allows viewers to pause, rewind and record live TV, and access a host of on-demand content at their convenience.

Virgin Media's Essential Collection is priced at £15 per month plus line rental for the first six months of an 18-month contract, rising to £26 per month thereafter.
