Virgin Media has launched a new deal offering account credit with selected TV, home phone and broadband bundles.

The service provider is giving households the chance to save £50 when signing up for the Starter Collection, or £100 when taking out an Essential, Premiere or VIP bundle over the internet.

The entry-level Starter Collection - which is priced at £9 per month plus line rental for the first six months and £18 per month thereafter - offers up to 30Mb download speeds with an unlimited usage allowance.

Also included with the bundle is weekend calls to UK landlines, more than 60 TV channels and a 500GB TiVo box.

Consumers paying slightly more for Virgin Media's Essential Collection receive the same deal on broadband and calls, but with additional TV channels thrown in.

They also receive a free Virgin Media Super Hub and a free installation, adding to the savings possible when switching broadband provider.

This deal is currently priced at £13 per month plus line rental for the first six months, rising to £26 per month for the remainder of an 18-month contract.

Subscribers receive £100 credit on this broadband bundle, as opposed to £50 on the Essential Collection.

The same credit offer applies on the Premiere Collection, which offers up to 60Mb download speeds with an unlimited monthly usage allowance, free Super Hub and installation.

Along with unlimited weekend calls, subscribers receive more than 200 TV channels - 38 of which are in HD - access to Virgin TV Anywhere, a 500GB TiVo box, an extra box for another room, and a BT Sport subscription.

The Premiere Collection is priced at £24 per month plus line rental for the first six months, rising to £48 per month thereafter.

Virgin Media's top-tier broadband bundle - the VIP Collection - offers up to 100Mb unlimited downloads, unlimited anytime calls, a Super Hub and free installation.

In terms of TV services, subscribers receive more than 225 channels including BT Sport and Sky Sports - 51 of which are in HD - a 1TB TiVo box, Virgin TV Anywhere and an extra HD box for another room.

Priced at £50.25 per month plus line rental for the first six months, the broadband deal rises to £100.50 per month thereafter.
