A new study has revealed EE to be the fastest mobile broadband provider in London.
Research conducted by independent consumer advocate RootMetrics - which carried out 86,000 mobile performance tests in the capital - showed that EE offers faster download speeds than Vodafone, O2 and Three.
EE recorded average download speeds of 19.3Mb and upload speeds of 12.9Mb in the London area.
These broadband speeds were nearly 10Mb faster than those achieved by any rival operator.
EE first rolled out 4G services in London in October 2012, and doubled the speeds available to dongle and tablet users in July this year.
The broadband provider is continuing to extend its next-generation mobile network to new parts of the UK.
EE's 4G services are currently available in 131 urban centres - with 14 more towns added to the network this week.
The latest locations to gain access to 4G services were Benfleet, Caerphilly, Caldicot, Canvey Island, Carlisle, Chepstow, Cwmbran, Grays, Harlow, Hatfield, Kenilworth, Rayleigh, Southport and Worksop.
