Vonage has added to the appeal of its Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls packages by revamping its gift card voucher offer.

UK consumers signing up for broadband-enabled calls receive a gift card of their choice to the value of £70, as opposed to the £50 previously available.

Among the options for new customers are Boots, Argos and Marks & Spencer shopping vouchers.

The offer applies across Vonage's call plans - which include Vonage Talk, Vonage Talk + Mobile Option, Vonage Talk + World Option and Vonage Premium.

The entry-level Vonage Talk VoIP deal - which is priced at £6 per month - includes unlimited UK landline calls, 10p a minute calls to mobile numbers and the Vonage Extensions service.

This enables calls to be made from two smartphones at no extra charge.

Vonage Talk has a £5 delivery charge for the starter pack, and also a £10 activation fee.

However, customers have a 30-day money back guarantee - meaning that if they are unhappy with their VoIP service during the first month, Vonage will fully reimburse them.

In order to take advantage of the £70 gift card offer, customers must order their Vonage calls package by midnight on Saturday November 30th.
