Zen Internet has boosted the appeal of its home broadband packages by offering higher usage allowances at no extra cost.

As reported by Thinkbroadband, the service provider is more than doubling the data caps on many of its deals from December 1st 2013.

Households signed up for Zen Lite for £18.37 per month will see their usage allowance increase from 20GB to 50GB, while the Zen Active cap for customers paying £25.52 per month will rise from 100GB to 200GB.

Zen Pro customers - who pay £35.74 per month - will see their usage allowance increase from 200GB to 500GB, and Zen Office - which is priced at £54 per month - will rise from 400GB to 1,000GB.

Additionally, the £94.80 per month Zen Office Max - which currently has a 1,000GB data cap - will be unlimited from the start of next month.

Back in September 2013, Zen Internet was named PC Pro Best ISP for the tenth time, having received an overall customer rating of 91 per cent.

Richard Tang, Managing Director at Zen Internet, said it was "fantastic" to have won the award for ten years in a row.

"Our mission is to provide the best ISP service in the UK," he stated.
