EE is giving consumers the chance to save money when signing up for an iPad Mini broadband deal.
Up until Monday February 17th, the mobile broadband provider is waiving the normal £49 upfront charge for the touchscreen device.
This means consumers taking out a 24-month tablet broadband deal by Monday pay nothing to receive their 4G device.
The offer applies to consumers signing up for an iPad mini with Retina display with a 5GB monthly usage allowance.
For this, consumers are required to pay £31 per month over a two-year contract.
The iPad mini is available in a choice of colours - silver or grey.
In order to take advantage of the £49 off promotion, consumers need to quote the 'TAB49' voucher code when signing up for the tablet broadband deal.
Signing up for EE mobile broadband offers a number of other potential benefits to UK consumers.
Those with a 4GEE broadband deal are able to take advantage of Wi-Fi services on the London Underground.
This is because EE has a wholesale agreement with Virgin Media, which installed wireless broadband infrastructure on the Tube for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Free Wi-Fi services are available to EE customers with a web-enabled device at more than 100 stations on the Underground network.
Another benefit for the firm's mobile broadband subscribers is EE Film, which allows users to download movies from the Film Store without the normal mobile data costs.
These can then be watched back at a later date on an EE tablet, such as the iPad mini.
Subscribers can also take advantage of 2 for 1 cinema tickets every Wednesday by texting FILM to 241 from an EE mobile device.
They will receive a message straight back with a voucher code which can be used at participating cinemas in their local area.
