Consumers signing up for a TV, home phone and broadband bundle with TalkTalk can now get their hands on a £70 Love2shop voucher.

The gift certificate - which can be used in around 20,000 high street stores across the UK - is available to customers signing up with TalkTalk for the first time.

It can be used to make significant savings on purchases at shops such as Boots, Waterstones, River Island, Debenhams, Argos, New Look and Toys 'R' Us.

Consumers can get their hands on a £70 Love2shop voucher when they sign up for either TalkTalk Essentials TV or TalkTalk Plus TV.

Both broadband, home phone and TV bundles include high-speed internet services, inclusive landline calls and a free YouView set-top box.

This enables subscribers to watch TalkTalk TV - which offers Freeview channels, on-demand content, catch-up services and the option of bolting on premium content packs.

Among these are the TV Starter Boost, Entertainment Boost, Kids Boost, Sky Movies and Sky Sports.

So what exactly do the respective TalkTalk TV, phone and broadband packages offer?

The entry-level Essentials TV bundle offers up to 16Mb download speeds with an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Subscribers can also take advantage of evening and weekend calls to UK landlines, a free wireless router and free installation.

At present, TalkTalk is offering three months' free access to the PictureBox Films service, which allows customers to choose from 60 on-demand titles at any one time.

The YouView set-top box (worth £149) allows viewers to pause and rewind live programmes, but Essentials TV subscribers do not have a record function with their device.

Customers are required to pay £7.50 per month plus line rental over the course of an 18-month contract.

The higher-tier TalkTalk Plus TV package offers up to 16Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, and anytime calls to UK landlines.

They are entitled to a higher-grade YouView box (worth £299), which allows viewers to pause, rewind and record TV content.

Viewers can store more than 200 hours of films and TV shows on their box to be watched at a later date.

TalkTalk Plus TV is priced at £15.50 per month plus line rental over the course of an 18-month contract.
