EE's 4G network expansion has continued, with next-generation mobile services going live in another 20 UK towns and cities.
The broadband provider has set super-fast mobile broadband live in Gateshead, Birkenhead, East Grinstead, Leighton Buzzard, Wallasey, South Shields, Wakefield and Coatbridge.
Households and businesses in Lisburn, Bangor (Northern Ireland), Newtownards, Omagh, Port Talbot and Neath are also able to take advantage of EE 4G services for the first time.
This means super-fast mobile broadband is now available in 215 large towns and cities across the UK, plus an additional 2,588 small towns and villages.
Some 72 per cent of the population live in an area now covered by EE's 4G broadband network.
Pippa Dunn, Chief Marketing Officer at EE, said 4G mobile services are changing the way people behave.
"There is an increased appetite for sharing those magic moments on-the-go," she stated.
Ms Dunn added that EE is bringing 4G to more regions across the UK than ever before, including more remote locations.
"It’s great for everyone to be able to stay connected all the time," she stated.
