With the FIFA World Cup already a fading memory, football fans are starting to focus on the upcoming domestic season, which gets underway in a little over a month's time.
As with last year, BT Sport and Sky Sports will share live coverage of the Barclays Premier League, with a total of 154 games to be broadcast in the UK.
BT Sport will show 38 games in the 2014-15 season, the first of which will be Louis van Gaal’s league debut as Manchester United boss.
Swansea City travel to Old Trafford on the opening day of the season (August 16th), for a 12:45pm kick-off to be shown live on BT Sport 1.
The outgoing Netherlands manager will be eager to hit the ground running at United, conscious of the difficult time experienced by his predecessor David Moyes.
Van Gaal is the man charged with rebuilding the Red Devils following a disastrous 2013-14 campaign - a season in which they missed out on European qualification for the first time in a generation.
BT Sport viewers will be able to watch two more Manchester United games during the first two months of the season, away at Burnley on Saturday August 30th and at home to Everton on Sunday October 5th.
Week two of the 2014-15 campaign sees Aston Villa v Newcastle United at Villa Park, which is a 12:45pm kick-off on Saturday August 23rd.
Both sides were largely underwhelming last year, finishing 15th and tenth respectively, and will be targeting player reinforcements this summer.
The champions Manchester City get their first outing on BT Sport on Saturday September 13th when they travel to the Emirates to take on Arsenal.
Big-spending City will be eager to pick up where they left off last season, while Arsenal will look for greater consistency as they mount a more sustained title challenge.
Simon Green, Head of BT Sport, said the broadcaster has secured some "superb" matches for the start of the 2014-15 season.
"All eyes will be on Louis van Gaal, fresh from the Netherlands’ World Cup efforts, and the start of his tenure with Manchester United," he stated.
"We’ll show the current title holders Manchester City four times before October ends, including the fascinating clash with Arsenal, and both teams also meet exclusively live on BT Sport in the FA Community Shield on Sunday August 10th."
