José Mourinho will be an even more regular fixture on UK TV screens during the 2014-15 football season, having signed a three-year deal with BT Sport.
The Chelsea manager has agreed to carry out various roles for the pay-TV provider, including making football programmes, acting as a pundit and serving as a BT Sport ambassador.
A double UEFA Champions League winner as a manager - having won the competition with Porto and Inter Milan - the outspoken Portuguese returned to Stamford Bridge for a second spell at the helm last summer.
He kicks off his partnership with BT Sport by featuring in a new TV advert, which debuts at 8:50pm on Saturday July 12th, just before the FIFA World Cup 3rd/4th place play-off between Brazil and the Netherlands.
Mourinho said he is looking forward to working with BT Sport.
"In their first year they have shown they are not afraid to challenge, are open to new ideas and want to do things differently," he stated.
"This is the kind of team and ambition that I want to work with."
Grant Best, Senior Channel Executive Producer at BT Sport, described Mourinho as being "one of the greatest managers of all time".
"He is a double UEFA Champions League winner, has won seven domestic league titles including the Barclays Premier League, which he has won twice, as well as numerous domestic cup competitions including the FA Cup," he stated.
"To add this winning mentality and wealth of experience to BT Sport’s football coverage, and with the UEFA Champions League coming to BT Sport next season, is simply fantastic."
Mr Best said the Chelsea manager is well-known for his sense of humour, strong views and unique character.
"We will showcase this, along with his expert insight, in our coverage of the Barclays Premier League, European leagues and competitions," he added.
