BT Sport viewers can now choose from even more live action, following the introduction of a new red button service on the platform.
Subscribers in the UK and Ireland can access additional programming and content via BT Sport Extra, which will air at selected times.
The service further extends BT Sport's multi-platform offering, adding to the app and website: btsport.com.
To access BT Sport Extra, viewers simply need to press the red button on their remote control.
Alternatively, they can switch over to BT Sport Extra on channel 527 on BT TV.
This will be included automatically within viewers' BT Sport packs, and is available now for Virgin Media TV bundle subscribers.
Simon Green, Head of BT Sport, commented that reach is "at the heart of BT Sport".
"We are continually looking at new ways to enhance our viewers’ experience," he stated.
"BT Sport Extra provides sports fans with access to even more live sporting action whether that’s on TV, via the red button, app or online."
A number of European football matches will air on BT Sport Extra this week, including Caen v PSG at 8pm on September 24th and Augsburg v Hertha Berlin at 2:30pm on September 28th.
